“A step in the right direction”

High Schools

We are fortunate to partner with six of the most prestigious college preparatory high schools in the Dallas area. Participating high schools are Bishop Lynch High School, The Episcopal School of Dallas, Greenhill School, The Hockaday School, Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas, and Ursuline Academy of Dallas. Each high school provides at least four student mentors and a host campus for the academic sections.

Bishop Lynch High School
Bishop Lynch High School is the most recent high school addition to our program, joining us in 2011. It is the only one of our high schools that is not located in North Dallas. Bishop Lynch is a coeducational Catholic high school with grades 9-12.

The Episcopal School of Dallas
The Episcopal School of Dallas is a coeducational Episcopal school located just off of Midway Road between Royal Lane and Walnut Hill. It educates children beginning at three years old through 12th grade. Chapel is a part of daily life at ESD, and like all of our other participating high schools, ESD places importance on development in areas beyond the classroom, such as athletics, community service and fine arts.

Greenhill School
Located in Addison, Greenhill School is a coeducational, day school that serves students Pre-K through 12th grade. Greenhill was one of the first participating high schools, along with Jesuit, to be a part of the STAIRS Program.

The Hockaday School
Also located in North Dallas, Hockaday is an all-girls' school with students in grades Pre-K through 12. Hockaday, unlike any other independent or any school in North Dallas is both a day and a boarding school. Like our other participating high schools, Hockaday provides a challenging college preparatory curriculum.

Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas
Jesuit, in addition to Greenhill, was one of the first high schools to be a part of STAIRS. It is located in North Dallas on Inwood Road. Near the intersection of the Dallas North Tollway. Jesuit is a 9th through 12th grade school for boys. It was founded as a private Catholic institution and today educates about 1,000 students.

Ursuline Academy of Dallas
Ursuline is an independent Catholic high school for girls located on Walnut Hill Road near Inwood Road. It serves about 800 young women in grades 9-12.
